The Dutch banks are developing a plan to provide Instant Payments by 2019. Instant Payments will enable people to book money from one Dutch banking account to the other 24/7 within 5 seconds. Moreover Instant Payments will provide an ideal platform to further innovate payments services in the Netherlands. As a stakeholder in the Instant Payments programme of the Dutch banks, Detailhandel Nederland wanted to be trained in the context and details of Instant Payments.
